Bureau of HIV/AIDS Control and Prevention mission statement
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is the grantee for the New York Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) Ryan White Title I grant award. The EMA includes the five boroughs of New York City and the counties of Westchester, Rockland and Putnam. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene contracts with two agencies to administer the Title I funds. Medical and Health Research Association of New York City, Inc. (MHRA) contracts and administers the New York City programs. The Westchester County Department of Health (WCDOH) contracts and administers the programs in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties.
